From the nozzle parameters disclosed on the official website of Seiko, we can learn that the ink supported by Seiko RCE2560 nozzles includes oil-based ink, UV ink, solvent ink, and water-based ink. The precision RCE2560 nozzle has 2560 nozzles, 9-30pl ink droplets, a printing width of 108.3 millimeters, a resolution of 600 DPI, and the ability to recycle ink through the print head and nozzle. It can be widely used in fields such as UV printing, textile printing, and ceramic printing. For other aspects of nozzle technology, we may refer to the RCH1536 nozzle released by Seiko last year.
The precision RCH model nozzle uses a metal nozzle plate, which is the first print head designed around the shear mode method. This involves bending the walls of the ink chamber to spray ink droplets and requires a certain degree of flexibility, which is why most of these heads are equipped with plastic nozzle plates. The cutting mode method was developed by Sail and was also used by companies initially authorized by Sail for nozzle technology, including Seiko, Konica Minolta, and Toshiba.
RCH1536 nozzle released by Seiko last year Seiko engineers spent two years perfecting the metal nozzle plate of the nozzle, finding the correct thickness of the nozzle plate, finding the right material, and finding the right glue – this was a challenging task.
The metal nozzle plate makes the nozzle look more industrialized, although it has not been on the market for long enough to determine whether it is truly more sturdy. Metal nozzle plates are easier to clean and won’t scratch than plastic nozzle plates, and Seiko believes that they will help improve the durability and durability of Seiko print heads.
Seiko has conducted many tests in the market and the customer is very satisfied with it. Automatic cleaning test was conducted on the nozzle, and compared with the old nozzle, the old nozzle showed some wear. After 2000 tests on the metal nozzle plate, there was no wear on the metal.
