Seiko Corporation has launched multiple inkjet print heads, such as RC512, 1024GS, and RC1536. “RC” represents “Circulation”, which means “recycling”.

The Xaar1001 series inkjet print heads launched by XAAR in the UK, the SG1024 and Samba series from Dimatix, the CF1, CK1L, CF3 series from ToshibaTEC, and the RC series from Seiko are all inkjet print head series with reusable ink.    

At present, the main manufacturers in the ceramic industry, SITI from Italy and Cretaprint from Spain, are both using the seiko RC1536 series inkjet printing heads. In addition, Seiko Corporation has officially launched the RC1536 series water-based printheads, and the application market of this inkjet printhead series is bound to be even broader in the future.    

The performance indicators of the seiko RC1536 printhead are not high, such as 1536 printheads, 1040 effective printheads, and a resolution of only 360pdi. Its printing width is the same as Kyocera’s inkjet print head, which is 108mm, ink droplets are 13-150PL, and the ignition frequency is only about 37KHz. However, the seiko RC1536 printhead combines the advantages of other brands of printheads.

The seiko RC1536GS printhead can effectively solve the sedimentation problem of special ink and eliminate ink bubbles.The seiko RC1536GS printhead is designed for the extreme industrial inkjet printing field, with features such as fast speed, high accuracy, and adaptability to various types of ink.

Grayscale&Variable Point Printing Technology

The seiko RC1536GS printhead supports eight level grayscale printing and can output 13-100PL ink droplets of different sizes. The ignition frequency of a single point is higher than 37kHz, enabling the RC1536 printhead to achieve high-speed, efficient, and high-quality image output; 

Built in EPROM memory

The seiko RC1536GS printhead is equipped with an EPROM memory, allowing users to set data according to their own needs to meet market diversification;

Internal circulation technology

The seiko RC1536GS printhead can effectively solve the sedimentation problem of special ink and eliminate ink bubbles.

There are three common models of seiko RC1536 series printheads: RC1536, RC1536L, and RC1536L+. The maximum ink output per square meter of the seiko RC1536 printhead is 45 grams, while the RC1536L printhead can reach 90 to 110 grams, and the RC1536L+can reach up to 200 grams.
