Seiko’s print head will launch the 600dpi print head RCE2560, specifically designed for the textile and corrugated cardboard markets, at the 2024 Druba exhibition.
The reason why the Precision RCE2560 excites nozzle enthusiasts is that it combines true recirculation, isolation channel technology, and an integrated next-generation waveform controller. It is said that the combination of these features can ensure unparalleled printing performance and efficiency.
The RCE2560 nozzle has four rows of 2560 distributed nozzles on a printing width of 108.3 millimeters, providing high printing performance in a compact footprint. The recirculation system can achieve high flow rate directly behind the nozzle, thereby achieving excellent printing quality and consistency.
One of the main highlights of the RCE2560 nozzle is its versatility, providing multiple grayscale levels, with an ink droplet size range of 9-20pl, and being able to adapt to various types of ink, including water-based ink, solvent ink, oil-based ink, and UV ink.
Seiko aims to explore new opportunities using RCE2560 nozzles and expand its business beyond traditional markets such as ceramics, coding, labeling, and packaging. The company collaborates with partners to pave the way for sustainable choices in different industries.
