With the development of the ceramic tile industry, ceramic tile manufacturers are improving their production processes to meet emerging environmental standards. In addition, these manufacturers meet the demand for large ceramic tile panels with improved color vitality. One of the key driving factors for this evolution is the use of water-based inkjet ink. These inks aim to meet new environmental sustainability goals, reduce emissions of air pollutants and volatile organic compounds, and produce brightly colored tile designs.

As a leading supplier of printhead technology for inkjet printing systems in the ceramic tile industry, FUJIFILM Dimatix continues its pioneering development of the starfire series printheads to meet the growing demand for water-based ink chemicals while maintaining its acclaimed core technological capabilities, such as ink recycling. The starfire series print head products have a good reliability record and can meet the constantly changing needs of ceramic tile printing systems, making them an ideal solution for the ceramic tile industry.

Martin Schoeppler, CEO and President of FUJIFILM Dimatix, stated, “As a leader in innovative printhead technology, FUJIFILM Dimatix is committed to providing industrial inkjet solutions to its OEM customers to support the transition to water-based ink ceramic printing.
